The Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Alexander Kurtakov to lead the Eclipse Tools PMC. I have updated our database.

Big congratulations and thanks, Alexander, for stepping into this important role.

Thank you, John, for your contributions to the project.

And finally, thanks David for leading this vote and seeing it through.

While I have your attention, PMC... I'll be badgering you later this year to update the Eclipse Tools Top Level Project Charter. :-)

John Duimovich is listed as the current lead, has stepped down, and besides no longer being lead said "I ... don't really need to be a  member".
 
Please take before the board for approval, assuming that is required in this case, and update the databases accordingly.

Let us know if there is more information required, other aspects of the procedure we have forgotten, and the anticipated date by which all will be finalized.
