[tm-dev] Branched some plugins for Helios SR2

FYI,

 

I branched some plugins for R3_2_maintenance:

·         org.eclipse.tm.terminal

·         org.eclipse.tm.terminal-feature

·         org.eclipse.rse.terminals-feature

·         org.eclipse.rse

·         org.eclipse.rse.sdk

 

The Helios team project set is updated on the http://wiki.eclipse.org/TM/Code_Streams page.

 

I yesterday built http://download.eclipse.org/tm/downloads/drops/M20110125-2215/ as our candidate for Helios SR2 RC2 (aka TM 3.2.2 RC2). Please give it some testing – for most of our consumers, there won’t be a chance getting any more fixes after SR2, so SR2 should be rock solid.

 

For Helios SR2 policies and dates, see http://wiki.eclipse.org/TM/3.2_Ramp_down_Plan :

  • Jan 18, 2011 RC1 - warm-up build contribution to Helios SR2
  • Feb 2, 2011 RC2 - release candidate for testing
  • Feb 8, 2011 RC3 - critical fixes only
  • Feb 15, 2011 final bits available (no more fixes planned)

Release will be declared with Helios on Feb 25

 

Time is getting tight, so if there’s anything that you still want to squeeze into SR2 better start now.

There’s currently 14 bugs assigned 3.2.2 [1] – please work on these bugs or reassign target milestone.

Remember that a second committer’s patch review is mandatory for SR2.

 

Like in last years, I’m going to create a “3.2.2+” target milestone for fixes in the maintenance branch after the SR2 release.
