So I have confirmation. I have just run through the full build on our Hudson build server. After a few false starts due to me, it is working. It seems that the issue we faced was to do with (I think) the Eclipse OSGI provisioning stuff not starting up correctly. Any way, my headless build works correctly with Eclipse 3.4.1

Jim - in case you wonder I have upgraded the version of Eclipse on the server.
