Is this for adding an importer?

I had a whole load of problems moving to Ganymede with my importer and fixed it... I could send you the config files - in fact I have...

Of course, I may have completely misunderstood the question :-)

I’m afraid I’ve run into the same problem... But still haven’t found the fix. Some type of a namespace issue indeed.
Couldn’t really find the proper Google incantation either to find the answer. Sounds like a question on a proper Eclipse newsgroup...

I have just found out that the Import UML menu contributions are pointing at the wrong code.

The correct code is in its own plugin, and I am trying to set up that plugin to add to the menus contributed by the ...ui.base plugin. Except that I can't make it work....

I copied the exact menubarpath settings from the old plugin to the new place ( and deleted the old ones!) but nothing appears.I have also had this problem when trying to add my own plugin for proprietary tools, and never got that to work.

My analysis is that the problem is EITHER :

a) The ui.base contributions need to expose something somewhere to allow other things to add to them, OR
b) I need to add something to the reference to say where the base definitions reside (ie a pointer to the ui.base plugin).OR
c) something different entirely :-)

Any ideas anyone?
