We have the whole history of the files in CVS. I just had a quick look at some
of the VE projects. All icons I looked at were committed by IBM committers. I
found pwalker, sgunturi and winchest. I also found references to some Bugzillas
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/92997, https://bugs.eclipse.org/69407) which imply
that the icons came from UI designers within IBM.
