Wayne,
I'd be willing to vote to give ALF yet another chance at life, but only if someone (you?) steps up to work with them. If none of the PMC members steps up, then I will argue that they've been given innumerable extensions and exceptions (including numerous phone calls from me) and that the time has come to either show us the community or be archived.

ALF - AlF seems to be still showing signs of life, at least in CVS.
Their web site needs to be updated to include a link to the project info
page. Project info page shows an anticipated June 30 release of ALF 0.8.
I recommend deferring any thoughts of shutting down this project until
the next cycle. I further recommend that we approach the project team
and ask them what they're doing about community development as their
website, newsgroup, and mailing list don't give me any sense that there
is a community.
