[stp-pmc] Re: Eclipse Project Proposal: Mangrove - SOA Modeling Framework

Hi Adrian,

Thanks the sending the proposal. The new top-level project isn't created yet, but it's getting there. We can get this proposal ready to go now, and then make it official after the new TL project is ready.

I'm attaching a zip file with the proposal templates. As you'll see from the README file, to get the proposal in the format we need for posting, just edit the proposal.html file, adding your HTML code in the appropriate place. Then zip it back up and send it back. We'll add a few things to finalize it, and then create a draft proposal that goes out to Mike and Wayne for review.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

Just curious -- how did you come up with the name "Mangrove"?

Dear Eclipse STP PMC and EMO,

After several rounds of consultation with the Eclipse community during Eclipse Summit and on the STP-DEV mailing list, we have finalized the proposal for the Mangrove - SOA Modeling Framework sub- project. This is a direct evolution of the existing STP Intermediate Model component which has an expanded scope in order to fit with the upcoming Eclipse SOA TLP. The proposal is attached as an HTML file.

Please let me know if there is anything else I need to do to complete the submission process for the subproject.

Best regards,
Adrian.
