Re: [stp-dev] Update on overall build system work

Thanks Oisin, this sounds like good progress!

Please let us know if you need help regarding the BPMN issue, what is the exact error message ?

Regards,

Antoine

This has been mooching along (slower than I would like), and at this
point I'm building an update site from all of the components, except
BPMN - more on that later.

I've set up a committers update site area which will allow us to get
the latest and greatest build and check it out before we 'promote'
it to a public milestone, interim build, etc.

The latest will appear at

http://download.eclipse.org/stp/updates/committers/0.8.0.200804011137

at sometime in the near future once download.eclipse.org synchs up
with build.eclipse.org.

I'd like you to check it with respect to your component and see if
it is working correctly.

So, there's nothing wrong with BPMN as far as I can see - the build
chokes on the ModifyBpmnEAnnotationCommand.java file, saying that it
cannot be read. The Java compiler says it can't read the file. Perms
are good, I can vi it, I can emacs it, cat it, etc, but the Java
compiler doesn't see it :) Perhaps there is a weird character in
there in the filename, or somewhere in the file, that is causing
grief. I'll continue to poke around and see if I can find out the
cause.

Once I've sussed that, I'll start posting instructions for a main
build, and also fill out the individual build folders that are in
each component, so you can do your own builds, update sites etc.
