Re: [stp-dev] Hybrid Model Now committed to CVS Repository

Hi Adrian,

Great stuff, thanks a lot!
Regarding the procedure to work with the code that's there, as I'm new to the development process in Eclipse, I'm not sure I understand how this is going to work before November 8th. If we want to add any code there, we need to open a bugzilla task and the code will be seen as a patch that can be added to the repo? Can I accept a patch and therefore commit the code to this temporary repo?
Lastly, for any new code that might potentially go in before Nov 8 (I'm thinking for example at minor updates to the model and automatically-generated code from EMF), will this need to undergo any IP process as well?

Thanks,
Adrian.

Hi There,

I've just added in the Hybrid Model to the org.eclipse.stp.contrib component in the cvs repo. That will be its temporary holding location until we complete out the community review on November 8th. However, it's now possible to begin work on the model as long as you have bugzilla tasks open for any activity that you plan to do there.

Thanks to Adrian Mos and Andrea Zoppello for this valuable contribution.

Regards,
Adrian.
