Hi Antoine,
The current org.eclipse.stp.common plugin is
designed to do that.
It holds preference page category, wizard category,
view category, and menu path in the plugin.xml
Beside that, it also provide a common logging
function.
There is an org.eclipse.stp.common.utils package in
that plugin as well, which include JDTUtils, FileUtils, UIUtils classes used by
stp.sc right now.
Looks like we won't share common code between
subprojects, so I am going to move those util classes to
org.eclipse.stp.sc.common.
Regards
Johnson

Subject: [stp-dev] Preference page
paths
Hi guys, I think we should create a separate, almost empty
plugin that would hold the project nature, the preference page category, the
wizard category.
If we try to use the BPMN modeler separatly now, it
fills the log with exceptions regarding the preference page category.
I volunteer to do it, I would name it something like org.eclipse.stp,
since org.eclipse.stp.core is already taken.
What do you think
?
Cheers,
Antoine
