3. Stochastic Modeling - two new plugins
Stefan: New solver does a random draw, automatically adds stochastic noise to every transition
Issues: Other distributions, not binomial?
Implications? Alex and Chris to indicate whether this will create a need for a special or customizable transition type
4. Bug(s) of the week
400920 Update: Chris will do doc, updated screenshot for Shape file graph generator next week
Chris: Has implemented new feature to get area from SHP file import, can pick a column or a fixed area
Jamie: Need to generate a feature request for handling units
Chris will NOT open a bug- new issue resolving target platform with Eclipse 4 is FIXED
New bug 408797: Renaming and copying between projects, across workspace (Stefan)
Alex: Encountering problems when copying component and dragging to new project
Deep copy vs reference (Eclipse’s “near reference)? Issues need further discussion
To do: Start a wiki page on renaming and refactoring, what’s now in STEM, what we want in future
Alex will set out issues, send to Jamie to launch the wiki page
Matt will put comment re loading an EMF and serializing on bug
Feature Request: Fix aggregate time series view
Feature Request: Directionally biased mixing model (with periodicity in time)
Added Item: Request from China for YouTube video in Chinese (Jamie)
Discussion: Make smaller videos, 5-minute tutorials?
Alex and Chris will send suggestions for short tutorials to stem-dev
Almaden team located script for existing (outdated) video, will review to ID possible short components
