Hi,

I checked the syntax for the hierarchical URI, and it is possible to enter the authrority using a comma. Like this:

 

spaces:xdrive://henrik.lindberg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx,aol.com/myspace

 

This makes the entire section henrik.lindberg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx,aol.com be the authority.  An authority that is not on the strict format

“user@host[:port]” is considered to be “registry based” as opposed to “server based” – but I don’t think that has any practical consequences.

 

This works because there are no email servers that have commas in their names.

 

This is much preferred over having an opaque URI.

 

An “addSpace” dialog for xdrive can also handle this so user does not have to enter the URI manually – i.e. it can have separate fields for user email, and the xdrive host.
