The aperture dependencies are a tricky thing. We use stuff from the
Nepomuk project, that hasn't been released, a trunk version of pdfbox
and some jars with our own bugfixes. We tried to document all of that
in the 'patches' folder in the main source tree as well as on a wiki
page:

http://aperture.wiki.sourceforge.net/Dependencies

If you have any questions feel free to post them to aperture-dev.
