You're right. The property on both IDiagramNodeDef and IDiagramConnectionDef needs to be non-null. I'll fix them.

I believe that this property is required to be non-null. If so, this needs to be marked accordingly in the model. I was playing around with defining a new diagram and noticed that I didn’t get prompted to specify a value for this property.
