Re: [rt-pmc] Migrating from CVS to Git

Sorry about that... cut and paste error (I touched up the text, but not the actual link). What you have below seems to work fine.

And yes, Modeling has their work cut out for them (so does Web Tools).

FWIW, if a project is dormant to the point where they cannot migrate from CVS to Git, I consider them a candidate for termination and archival.

That link just shows me that we have eRCP and RAP still using CVS. Equinox
has moved to git and I think Riena is migrated as well. So ...
 - Does RAP have a plan to migrate to git?
 - I think eRCP has gone dormant and I do not look forward to that project
putting forth any effort to move to git. Mark do you know if this is true?

Greetings RT PMC.

As you should hopefully already be aware, the Eclipse Foundation has
declared a shutdown date for CVS of December 21/2012.

Several RT projects are still using CVS. The list of projects, generated
based on information provided in project metadata via the developer portal,
is available via the project status page.

http://eclipse.org/projects/tools/status.php?top=rt&cvs=1

Note that this link shows a filtered view of RT projects that have a CVS
repository.

Can you please ensure that the projects listed on this page have a plan for
migration before the cut off date?

Let me know if I can help.
