Re: [rt-pmc] ECF 3.1 release approval

You will need another +1 once you have the slideware ready I think. Questions: What is the planed version for Helios release? 3.2? or 3.1.x? Also, what will be released with Galileo SR2. Will it be a follow on to 3.1 or some 3.0.x version? These questions have no impact on my +1 above, I'm just curious.

Hi rt pmcers,

ECF would like to have a minor release (3.1) as soon as possible (before
ESE), in order to meet consumer requests for enhancements and fixes.  
I've attached the generated IP log to this email.  The major new
contributions to be included in 3.1 (both from outside the existing ECF
committers and soon to be new committers) are:

fixes...especially around ECF remote services and distributed EventAdmin
implementation.  I have not yet finished with the review slideware, but
am working on it now as much as possible and will post a completed
version asap.

So, I request PMC approval for ECF 3.1.
