[riena-dev] P2 and unwanted RAP dependencies

at first: this is not about Riena problems - its about P2 problems:

some of you perhaps read my blog about the unwanted RAP dependencies,
where P2 installed RAP into the IDE - even if I put my own Riena Plug-ins collections
into an own updatesite:

http://ekkescorner.wordpress.com/2010/03/20/urgent-helios-m6-updatesite-problem-with-rap-in-ide/

there are 3 bugzillas I know about around these problems:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=306279
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=276000
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=306709

normally P2 shouldn't be able to install RAP into the IDE, but it happens.
I heard about some problems from EMF - then the redView Designer Editor in IDE
and Riena's Toolbox inside IDE can cause P2 to install RAP.
Sometimes the IDE is still working (as Christian Campo reported), sometimes
no views can be opened (as I noticed) and sometimes only colors were wrong
(as Benny Muskala reported)

I don't know if the bugs above will have any impact of the (optional) RAP dependencies from riena:
org.eclipse.riena.navigation.ui.swt
org.eclipse.riena.ui.ridgets.swt
org.eclipse.riena.ui.swt

or about annotations for P2 to signal, that some features / Plug-ins couldn't be installed into IDE

Only to prevent any other problems in the future:
at the moment redView needs following plug-ins inside the IDE to provide the
redView WYSIWYG Designer Editor using Riena Ridgets:

org.eclipse.riena.beans.common
org.eclipse.riena.core
org.eclipse.riena.navigation
org.eclipse.riena.navigation.ui
org.eclipse.riena.navigation.ui.swt
org.eclipse.riena.ui.common
org.eclipse.riena.ui.core
org.eclipse.riena.ui.filter
org.eclipse.riena.ui.ridgets
org.eclipse.riena.ui.ridgets.swt
org.eclipse.riena.ui.ridgets.swt.optional
org.eclipse.riena.ui.swt
org.eclipse.riena.ui.swt.rcp
org.eclipse.riena.ui.workarea

so it always shgould be possible to install these bundles into the IDE

hopefully these P2 problems will be fixed soon, because its a real blocker
