Re: [qvtd-dev] [Dev] Duplicate xmi:id values

Hi

Please raise a Bugzilla attaching an example.

The duplicate messages should be benign, until you try to reload in which case references to the duplicates might be incorrectly resolved.

I have fixed a couple of causes, so check the latest state of master.

Hi Ed,

I noticed after some of the latest changes when you save the AS model of a QVT transformation a package $$ is added to the model to contain the references to OCL types. This has generated two issues for me.

1.       When using the model as input for the QVTc to QVTu transformation I am getting an exception with a message that says: Duplicate xmi:id values generated for … and a list of elements in the $$ package.

2.       If I try to edit the model manually, make a change and save it, I am getting the same error as above plus additionally the sample reflective ecore editor complaints about the metamodels’s oclas file not existing.
