Greg,

I fully understand that plugging the CDT conversion on top of a synchronized project is bound to generate some problems - which are soluble by some manual conversions as I demonstrated in my post. I (now) know what to do, so I don't need another wizard. - But what about a newbie user ?

Developing another wizard also eats time and developing effort, and I am not sure whether a general user might just pick the CDT wizard as opposed to the newly developed PTP "convert synchronized project to C/C++ project" wizard, depending on which wizard is found first in the menus.

There is no fool proof solution. - I was rather thinking along the lines of an FAQ (or other documentation) entry like this. "Why should a general project be first converted to a C/C++ project and then to a synchronized project - and not the other way round ?"

What do you think ?
