One workaround for this problem is to deselect all build configurations in the wizard and
create a remote configuration after the conversion.

Apparently, the wizard sets the remote project immediately as active build
configuration and starts a synchronization right away. This way, too many files
get replicated.
I would like to set a synchronization filter first, set (remote) environment
variables and modules first and start the initial replication when doing the
remote build.
Did I miss some preferences to set before starting the wizard ?
