Hi Greg,

no, I am running eclipse on Linux (3.4.2 with PTP 2.1.2, with latest updates 
from the update site) from a standard bash shell and debug on the same 
machine.
Strangely I still don't get any output even with --debug=15. But when I simply 
run the mpi application instead of starting it for debugging, I also don't get 
any output in the console, although the program is running fine and produces 
the correct output files.
