The release notes at http://wiki.eclipse.org/PTP/release_notes/2.1
tell you which eclipse (3.4.1) and CDT (5.0.1, or 5.0.2 if you want to use RDT) to install - for RDT please use 5.0.2 from 10/24 for best results.

I don't see any reference to "(limited)" for AIX in the release notes
You will want to read the "Installing PTP Server Components" part at
http://wiki.eclipse.org/PTP/release_notes/2.1#Installing_PTP_Server_Components
where <os> and <arch> are aix and ppc I would presume.

Hello again,
More questions on installing PTP on AIX systems:
1.  Which version of Eclipse do I need to install?
2.  Which version of CDT do I need to install?
Release notes for 2.1 say "(limited)" for AIX, but it is not clear what that means.  I'm wondering 
if there are specific installation instructions for AIX systems.
