Dear all,
a colleague asked me, whether it was already thought about integrating a
VNC viewer into PTP. This could be used for instance in the ETFw as
alternative for X11 forwarding to start views in Eclipse showing remote
visualization tools (e.g. Cube from Scalasca or ParaProf from TAU).
However, we would need to check, whether a VNC server is available on
the remote system.
There is already an Eclipse module within the Sequoyah project, which
includes a VNC Viewer implementation:

Thus, the integration could even be not too difficult.
Do you think that it is reasonable to open a bug for this enhancement?
