I agree with Jeff.  I would like the existing method of committing code to still be available.

I agree, it makes sense for PTP and Photran to switch at the same time for consistency.

+1 for keeping the repo open for direct commits.  It will be good to have the flexibility to either use or bypass Gerrit, depending on the situation.

        I would like “training” on this as well, I’m interested in not only our use for Eclipse purposes, but also more generally, especially for improving practices for application software engineers using Eclipse PTP for their work – (could become another module in our tutorial suite).
