Re: [ptp-dev] debugging in M7

Hi Grep,
I am testing the IBM Platform MPI using M7.
It was holden when debugging a local "MPI Hello World Project". I used the sdm at "/home/wangzm/sdm/org.eclipse.ptp.linux_7.0.0.201305142051/os/linux/x86_64/sdm".

When I used the "sdm" which builded by the codes from git, it was well.
$ cd git/org.eclipse.ptp/debug/org.eclipse.ptp.debug.sdm
$ sh BUILD

I used the changed ptp-proxy-6.0.5.zip which only added one line "PCMP_PTP_RANK" for IBM Platform MPI, it was well too.

Was the pre-built "sdm" special? What was different?

Best Regards,

Yes, the ptp-proxy-* package is no longer needed. Instead you should use the ptp-sdm-*.zip package from here: http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ptp/builds/kepler/nightly/

Greg
