I know it would take more disk space, but I wonder if it would make more 
sense to put .eclipsesettings inside the remote directory that gets 
created when you create a synchronized project instead of putting it in 
the top level directory of user_home. This would prevent conflicts if 
you use different versions of eclipse with the same remote machine. It 
seems like it would be easy to have issues simply because you are using 
multiple versions of eclipse that expect different LML drivers.
