[ptp-dev] Questions on 6.0.0 features
|
We're updating the Fedora Eclipse PTP package to 6.0.0 and I have some
questions/notes about some of the new features:
> ./releng/org.eclipse.ptp.cdt.compilers-feature/feature.xml
It doesn't look like anything else builds or requires this, so I added it as a
new sub-package.
< ./releng/org.eclipse.ptp.master/feature.xml
Looks like this went away. I never built it, so it's not a big deal for me.
I'm still keeping a -master package that brings in all of the ptp sub-packages.
> ./releng/org.eclipse.ptp.pldt.openacc-feature/feature.xml
It doesn't look like anything else builds or requires this, so I added it as a
new sub-package.
> ./releng/org.eclipse.ptp.rdt.editor-feature/feature.xml
This is built by and included in the rdt feature.
> ./releng/org.eclipse.ptp.rdt.sdk-feature/feature.xml
It doesn't look like anything else builds or requires this, so I added it as a
new sub-package.
> ./releng/org.eclipse.ptp.rdt.xlc.sdk-feature/feature.xml
It doesn't look like anything else builds or requires this, so I added it as a
new sub-package.
> ./releng/org.eclipse.ptp.rm.ibm.bluegene-feature/feature.xml
There are already a number of rm.ibm.* features in the main ptp feature, but
this is not being built or included there. Is that intentional? Does it make
more sense as it's own sub-package?
> ./releng/org.eclipse.ptp.rm.jaxb.openmpi-feature/feature.xml
Built and included in ptp feature.
> ./releng/org.eclipse.ptp.rm.lsf-feature/feature.xml
It doesn't look like anything else builds or requires this, so I added it as a
new sub-package.
Does that seem reasonable? I guess ibm.bluegene was the only real
questionable one.
