Dave, please log a bug. I cannot reproduce on Mac with local project.  What kind of project was it? just put that in the bug and respond with bug URL please, to link to this thread.
Ctrl-space on Mac (actually cmd-space, but that's normal)  gives a popup with selection of several things that begin with MPI_Send for me.

Ctrl-space (then Enter) on WinXP works for me and inserts MPI_Send.  (i had to hit Enter to do a selection in the popup).  Let's discuss further in the bug.

I just finished my quick Indigo test. I found one minor bug and one unexpected thing.

If I edit a source file and type MPI_Send( then hit CTRL-space then MPI_Send turns into MMPI_Send where the ( gets lost. It acts as if the column where the code tried to rewrite MPI_Send is off by one column.

I was expecting the source files for the proxies, SDM debugger and support libraries to be in directories like they had been earlier. When I looked in the plugins directory I saw they were packed into JAR files instead.

I created a synchronized project, set up a resource manager (PE), built and ran the application, opened some source files, tried the MPI artifacts and barrier tools and the MPI code completion.

Now I'm off to do the same for Juno.

I have not heard back from anyone regarding testing that has been done.
Based on my own very brief testing on mac 64, and promises from individual missives to a few PTP developers,
I have voted +1 for the RC2 indigo package, so they can make it available on the developer download site later today.

PLEASE reply to this message and tell me that you have testing something on a particular platform (win64/32, mac 64/32, linux 64/32)

Note that Indigo SR2 is our LAST CHANCE for an official parallel package under Indigo.
If this is very robust, it could very positively affect PTP's adoption and usage across a wide variety of academia and industry for a long time.

We can always put out a bugfix release that users can apply on top of Indigo SR2 but it's so much easier to just...
unzip/untar and run!

Thanks for any and all testing.

Greetings PTP Developers... Please test the parallel package.
This is a busy week...

Download from:

RC1 was just a warm-up really: we need to test this one more thoroughly.

Remember we want to release our PTP 5.0.5 on Feb 7 - so that's *before* the final Indigo SR2.
So this is your last chance to test with a parallel package build before we finalize the PTP content. We hope.

Hi package maintainers,

pretty busy week as everyone can see on the Hudson build servers. The RC1 build was more a warm-up build, but this time I am asking for your votes for the Indigo SR2 RC2 build, which is this one:

http://build.eclipse.org/technology/epp/epp_build/indigo/download/20120202-0441/

I've disabled the Indigo build and I am waiting for your votes in order to make the build available tomorrow / Friday.

Thanks,
Markus
