This is most welcomed, Jeff.  I looked at the docs at the link you gave 
and none had 55 steps, so I'm not sure I am seeing your latest.  Is the 
doc the one named "How to Check Out Photran from Git and Compile It"?  
(that one has 49 steps in 3.5 pages).
