Just a quick update. With the latest check in, I have now restored  
most of the ORTE proxy functionality from 1.1. There are a couple of  
things left to do, but I can now submit a job and have it executed by  
ORTE using the JUnit tests. Hopefully hooking up the resource manager  
will not be too difficult now.

I tried this installation configuration and I can't see the PTP  
plugins either (and I didn't install the extra plugins that you  
did).  I'll go back to 3.2.1 and see if that makes a difference.
