Re: [provisioning-dev] What is the status on the provisioning projects?
|
Hi Michael,
There is no overall/cross-project plan for the provisioning effort and
since each project is independent addressing different part of the
provisioning space, it seems to me that the only "cross project plan" we
need to have is something that plan discussion, collaboration and then
adoption of the new concepts and metadata being defined in the equinox.
As you may have already found, the equinox provisioning plan is available
here (http://wiki.eclipse.org/Equinox_Provisioning_Plan). For 3.4 and with
the current involvement, our goals will be to replace update manager.
Given the context of the summit, the discussion will likely focus on the
equinox part of the provisioning.
Which area of the provisioning work are you interested in?

Hi,
what's the best way to get an overview of the current status
and the future plans of the provisioning effort?
Is there a central place with the information?
Is there anything better than (and the Provisioning category)?
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Provisioning
Or do I have to come to the Summit in September?
I also tried this search: http://tinyurl.com/yvt652
