I think that separating these two logs is important. From an undo
perspective, I think that going back too deep will potentially cause
problems, especially if the features have lots of install handlers dealing
with non-eclipse data

Maybe there can be a distinction between what is shown for undo support and
what is remembered as activity. 5-10 changes, for undo, might be ok. With
a much larger number of events in the log (at least as it is visualized in
the system summary) would be good.
(1000? will we be that busy?)
