Yes to both .... althought the naming convention for the link is there to
protect you, so there are no conflicts.

Just want to clarify,
From the "How to write an Eclipse Installer" doc in the section about
naming the link file. It indicates that the link is named after a feature
in the extension which is being hooked in. I am assuming that naming link
after a feature is just a suggestion rather than a requirement and in fact
it can be anything as long as it is unique.
Also just to clarify each link file corresponds to a specific extension
rather than to a specfic feature of an extension. So 1 extension would have
1 link added to a product rather than a link added for each feature.
