I went back home and turned the feature
on in Opera and I like it a lot.
I haven't used it extensively yet in
Eclipse, but my first impressions are:

1) great for navigation w/o requiring
to use the keyboard or move big distances with the mouse to hit the tool
bar button.
2) no benefit for editing (copy, cut)
or saving operations (you are already using the keyboard anyway)

I think that Eclipse can and should
act like a browser when one is browsing 
through a lot of source code.
