[platform-text-dev] Vi maybe?

Maybe I'm on the wrong list here, but has anyone experimented with making a vi 
editor plugin.  I notice the editor has an emacs mode, so it seems like it 
should be possible.  I'd be curious to try coding it, but the eclipse.org 
docs don't quite help in telling me where to start looking.
