Hi Michael,
I had enabled the
watch/edit in the project preferences of two development workstations and
didn't the behavior you are describing.
The only difference is
that I am now able to right click on a source file and select "Show
Editors" in order to see who is currently editing the file.
But now Warning was given
to me when I attempted to edit a file which is already being edited by another
developer.
Any help is appreciated
on the matter.
Could it be I'm not
working on the latest version of the plugin?

CVS plugin
You can enable watch/edit in either the CVs preferences
or the properties of a project. This will tag a file as being edited and others
who edit the file will be promted to warn them that someone else is editing the
file. However, it does not prevent editing or committing so it may not be as
strong a locking as you are loking for.

Hi all,
Is it
possible to use the eclipse plugin in a way the will enable locking of a source
file while working on it in a matter that will not enable editing by other
users?
