[platform-swt-dev] Extending TaskList class

Hello,

I would like to extend TaskList class and access some of its methods for 
the application I am developing. While the API documentation says this 
class org.eclipse.ui.views.tasklist.TaskList ,id = 
org.eclipse.ui.views.TaskList is not intended to be instantiated or 
extended I read in the mailinglists that there is a way. I will appreciate 
any help and direction.
