Re: [platform-swt-dev] eclipse snippets webpage

Just say "open in new window" when you have the "developer resources" link targetted, then copy down the link in the address field of the new browser. To make things easier, it's:
    http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/platform-swt-home/dev.html

When I need to go the eclipse snipped webpage -- you know, the page with:

SWT Component Development Resources
 Index
SWT FAQ
...
Snippets
Snippets for Pocket PC
...

I need to click at least 10 times from the home page, and remember the way
to get there. Ok. But what's even worse, I can't put the page in my
favourites, because all these web pages have the same Url:
http://www.eclipse.org/platform/index.html!!! So, I'm back to clicking one
million times to get to the snippets; if I didn't forget how to get there,
in the meanwhile. By the way, the website looks really nice, but the
subdivisions and menus are really useless. You won't find the snippets from
looking at the menus, because you need to click a good number of vague links
to get there:

(menu) projects--> (halfway the page) the eclipse project --> (halfway the
page) platform --> (halfway the page) subproject SWT --> (somewhere in the
middle of a sentence) Development Resources --> (scroll to the very bottom
of a long page) Snippets.

Giving each page a distinct URL would tremendously improve the website's
usability; apart from reviewing this strange website organization and take
out some of the circular thinking.
