Re: [platform-swt-dev] Contributing to OSX Port [was: MacOSX port - good progress!]

I've talked to Andre about this. There are two strategies which make sense currently:
        1) Build with PB, remote debug with Eclipse from some other platform.
        2) Build with Eclipse on some other platform and mount its target directly on the mac to run/debug.

Andre is currently using 1).

We definately want to get to the point where Eclipse is used to develop itself.

Which brings up a point. I'm hoping that a goal of the port during the
bootstrap phase is that it build with Apple's ProjectBuilder, a free tool on
every MacOSX system, and eventually with Eclipse itself. If it also builds
with non-free tools without compromise, that's fine.
