In case the answer was GTK:
SWT/GTK is currently not supported on HP-UX.  It may come up, but you'll have problems as soon as you try to obtain font metrics from a font, and in a couple of other places.  Support for non-Linux, non-i386 platforms will be in the upcoming GTK2 version.

Did you recompile the SWT natives for HP-UX?  Which SWT variant did you start with - Motif? GTK?

Can anyone please let me know, why do I get the callback
starting/exiting with 0/1,
when executing  the SWT examples. Where can this debug? info. maybe
coming
from? Any ideas, if someone has seen this messages in the stdout.
