I looked at the JDT test failures and can only conclude that something went wrong with the JVM or access to the same. To be precise, a null connector to JDI has been returned by the JVM. I have raised a bug to investigate - https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=483158

This is certainly a test issue and doesn't affect the quality of the build.

Making slow progress on getting the Hudson-ran unit tests working again. 

The JDT team might want to look at the Linux results (soon) to see if there is anything to learn from them -- even if due to an "odd state" of the test infrastructure. I say this not only because there were a lot of failures in JDT tests, but also because the testing phase appeared to have completed normally, but not the literal end of the Hudson Job. So, because of those two things, I am going to re-run the whole M-build test on Linux again, and the results currently visible at 
http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops4/M20151125-1000/testResults.php
will be replaced (I hope) in 3 or 4 hours after the tests re-run.

The tests did not run, due to Hudson problems. The Windows slave seems to work now, and I restarted that M-build test. 

But, the Mac and Linux Slaves seem to have deeper problems, which I could not fix by a slave restart. So, I opened 

Bug 483111- Shared Instance Hudson or slaves needs to be restarted 

Will run the tests once that is addressed.
