I created and maintain the job with the same intent as Mickael to be able to see build failure early. But I agree with David, so far this build setup was not very useful as it would fail "randomly". I typically only start paying attention, once it fails several days in the row.

This list is more for our "production builds" ... and it might be confusing to get error messages from both?

This job: https://hudson.eclipse.org/platform/job/eclipse-aggregator-master/ does a full build of Platform. It's currently configured to skip tests, but it can detect binding issues, compile issues, wrong versions between pom and MANIFEST... Wouldn't it make sense to configure it to send reports to this mailing-list ?
