Moving to "platform-releng-dev"
list, since others have asked and maybe others didn't the brief note in
Status
Meetings minutes. 

There wasn't much ML discussion that
I recall ... and just a little at status meeting where some thought fine
if we purposely limited them to "2 hour runs" instead of the
previous "12 hour runs".

Not sure where/which bug I documented
some early runs to assess variability, but you can see in the main "test.xml"
there are some "groups of tests" defined (I think named "short,
medium, long" tests, or something similar) and what I found was that
with the "performanceTest" flag set, the short tests finished
in about 2 hours, ... the medium tests would eventually finish .... and
the long tests (for some reason, at at that time at least) would either
not run at all or or would hang, or something).  

But, all that was a long time ago ...
things could be much different now ... Any/all help/insights/labor appreciated.
