p2 is looking at a fix for RC4

 

how does o.e.e.p2.ui.sdk.scheduler compile on JDK 1.5?

 

There are actually two fixes here:

1. p2 was using some 1.6 API in a bundle marked with a 1.5 BREE

2. There is a problem in the p2 parent POM which is why this was never noticed.

When this condition is hit, we are filling up the log with unwanted error messages until the next session start.  We plan to remove the logging code.   Since we already have recursive protection code in place, the risk of this change is minimal.
