Re: [platform-releng-dev] Howto use new directory.txt?

Hi David, Paul,

Stephan, are you asking because you use (or, used to use) tags for a few
specific projects from the Platform in your PDE batch builds? Or are you
asking more for what to load into your development environment?

It's the former: our PDE batch build fetches several SDK test projects
for (a) running these against Object Teams and (b) running our tests
that are built on top of some SDK tests.

I ask since I am not sure the 'ol "Git Fetch Factory' used by PDE build
will know what to do with these "repository tags" for specific,
bundle-level, projects. It might, I'm not saying it would not work ...
just saying I don't know. Let us know if it does!

Right, that's why I was glad Paul mentioned I don't have to follow the
sub-module reference but can use the common tag in the individual
repos directly.

You may be a one-of-a-kind special case (for ObjectTeam, right?) but I
opened a (low priority) feature request on ourselves to provide

I'll drop a comment there.

Thanks, I now have a first build against M6 using tag I20130314-1330
for each individual repo and tests are running as expected.

thanks for both your help,
Stephan
