Some clarifications about our status
so far.

There is one JDT/APT bug fix which got
approved for M6 (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=224750).
Walter to make the contribution before 4pm OTT.

The rebuild is going to occur either
later today (OTT time) or tomorrow, depending on our releng team availability
(Kim/DJ pls give some indication when you know).


Our builds are not entirely broken today,
only the platform.download and platform.sdk are corrupted. The other drops
are fine, in particular the full SDK is fine; this explains why people
could download full SDK and do some assessment with them. Platform.download
and platform.sdk scripts are still being p2-ized, and the scripts have
not been finalized yet. In the event that they cannot be so, we would revert
these scripts to p2-free versions.

I don't think there is one scheduled yet but I wanted
to tag so nothing was
missed. (these fixes were important ones we found and are including in
our
test builds)

We still have a few issues that we are working out with the build but we
believe that we are down to a couple of problems with the way we are

I have tagged the p2 projects for the next i-build.

The map file has been updated for the following Bug changes:
+ Bug 224667. Second dropin is not discovered (FIXED)
+ Bug 224718. [ui] disable/enable p2 depending on system property (FIXED)
+ Bug 224744. Metadata generator does not perserve repository compression
(FIXED)

The following projects have changed:
org.eclipse.equinox.p2.ui.sdk
org.eclipse.equinox.p2.metadata.generator
org.eclipse.equinox.p2.reconciler.dropins
