Eddie,
How do you define "correct TOC entry" ? Can you provide more details?
Currently, the topic is first looked-up in the current book TOC (book),
then, if not found, the first TOC to contain it will be returned.
If you want to open a specific TOC and then synchronize(assuming you know
what TOC to open), then please open a feature in bugzilla to support this.

Hello all,
Does anyone know if and how you can override the behaviour of the
"Synchronization" function?
We are planning to reference the same document from different TOC entries.
We would like to override Synchronization so that we are taken to the
correct TOC entry and not to the one where the document in question is
first referenced.
