Thanks, I'll try. You see - I have said "I'll". The problem is: very
often the repository is unaccessible for me. I use two dialup connection,
and have never succeed with one of them, and sometimes  was OK with another.
The same is true for repository WEB-browsing. Are there any tips to
obtain more stability? I have plenty of other projects I work with via CVS
without any problems.

date if the development teams that own that section use them. The platform 
module is definetly out-if-date since it is never used. Instructions on

Michael,

1. I have found _common_ instructions how to work with version control
systems. Will you be so kind to point me to section deals with checking
out-building-updating the Eclipse itself?

2. I have tried to checkout the "platform" module. It depends on the 
"platform-vcm" module, which is commented out in the CVSROOT/modules file.
Is it a bug?

Hi,

Can not realize, how to be in synch with CVS. All otrher projects I have 
checked out
have simple steps for update-rebuild cycle. Ususally, it is one cvs 
(update) command
and one script or ant (clean, build) command. Is such two-step-way 
possible for
platform + jdt?
