[platform-core-dev] messages from native launcher

In this week's integration build, the
messages usually produced by the native launcher such as "Workspace
in use" and "Error during startup. Check the log file" have
been removed. The strategy now is to produce these messages from Java code
and call the launcher to present them. This has not been implemented yet.
So, this week only, such errors will cause the general error dialog to
show up ("JVM terminated. Exit code=..."). Please see bug 33974
for more details.
