Sorry, I forgot this thread.
So, if I understood, the work around to comment is to
- select the code to comment
- press tab
- press Ctrl / (or choose that in the menu)
Then to uncomment
- select the code to uncomment
- press shift tab
- press Ctrl / (or choose that in the menu)

Its is a bit annoying because I do not like tab characters in the first columns (since they are not dealt with the same way by all the editors), but it works!
